The Altra Men's Experience Wild 3+ GTX Trail Running Shoes in Blue Hour/Dawn are built for wet trails, muddy kilometres, and hikes where the weather has abandoned diplomacy.

A lightweight GORE-TEX Invisible Fit upper provides waterproof protection, helping keep feet dry and comfortable when rain, puddles, and saturated trails join the route. The updated fit construction and redesigned heel collar create a comfortable, secure feel without giving up flexibility.

Underfoot, Altra EGO™ P35 midsole foam provides responsive cushioning and a light, efficient ride. A 4 mm heel-to-toe drop combines with rocker-shaped geometry to support natural body alignment and an efficient toe-off. The Standard FootShape™ fit leaves room for toes to move naturally, paired with a secure midfoot.

Then there is the matter of traction. A Vibram® Megagrip outsole with TractionLug™ is designed to provide grip and stability across wet, muddy, and challenging terrain. An integrated toe bumper adds protection up front, which is useful when a root makes an unexpected administrative decision concerning your stride.
