PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Altra Men's Torin 9 GTX is a waterproof road running shoe built for daily runs, walking, and the sort of weather that leaves the pavement shining.

A lightweight GORE-TEX Invisible Fit upper provides waterproof, windproof, and breathable performance without turning the Torin into a cumbersome weather boot. Underfoot, Altra uses its P35X™ dual-density foam, combining softer and firmer foams to create a cushioned, stable ride.

The outsole gets an equally substantial update. Vibram® XS DURA rubber is designed for durability, smooth responsiveness, and road grip; Altra states that the new outsole is 8.5% grippier than the Torin 8. FootPod™ technology supports flexibility underfoot, helping the shoe move naturally with the foot.

A 28 mm stack height and 0 mm heel-to-toe drop keep the platform balanced from heel to forefoot. The Standard FootShape™ fit provides room through the toe box paired with a secure midfoot, and Altra has updated the heel shape and tongue details for a softer step-in.
