The Village PM 1PM Chocolate is a low-profile suede skateboard shoe with a precise, foot-hugging shape and soft climbing rubber wrapped around the places that spend the most time meeting grip tape.

Its suede leather upper is paired with Village PM’s Rubber Glove Technology. Soft, sticky natural rubber is manually wrapped around the foot for a close fit designed to remain consistent through the life of the shoe. The construction sits outside the usual vulcanized-or-cupsole arrangement and is made to break in quickly.

The asymmetrical shape follows the natural form of the foot and fits closely around the toes. Full-foot asymmetrical lacing gives you finer control over the fit. At the forefoot, a hand-wrapped climbing-rubber rand provides a sticky surface for consistent flick.

A drop-in EVA midsole handles impact underfoot. It’s thicker through the heel, then gradually slims down from the midfoot forward to retain board feel. The rubber outsole follows the same philosophy: durable, yet made to break in without requiring several unpleasant afternoons first.

Embroidered heel pull tabs make entry easier. Fit runs mostly true to size, though wider feet may find the 1PM snug. Village PM recommends going up half a size when in doubt.
