just as happy on its own. Made from steel offcuts, sourced from a local
factory that produces industrial ventilation systems.

MANUFACTURING:
bonus items are partly made in a working factory, they can come
with scuffs and scratches, but that's all part of their charm!
Designed, cut, drilled, bent and painted by humans with the help of machines.
Finished and assembled by hand, with new steel rivets.

CARE:
Clean with lukewarm soapy water and a soft cloth, followed by a rinse.
Abrasive, acidic or alkaline products (such as bleach), as well as strong
solvents, will damage the finish.

bonus is a Montréal design studio founded in 2024 by two brothers,
Mathieu Amadei and Louis Thompson-Amadei.

They design furniture and everyday objects out of steel offcuts. Material is
primarily sourced from a local steel fabrication workshop, where
ventilation systems (HVAC) are produced.

They design first for functionality, simplicity and durability, then push for
character, brightness and a bit of play. We believe in working with what
already exists, prioritizing repurposed and pre-existing materials over the
extraction and production of new resources.
