Scene Setting
On a low wooden table in a Kyoto teahouse, afternoon light cuts through bamboo blinds. A Giratorio Vessel sits quietly in its tomobako box, the black shifuku bag beside it. A crow watches from the garden; it suspects something sacred.
Product Description
The Giratorio Vessel Series is MemoryLand Studio’s ode to rotation, an interplay between modern ceramics and traditional presentation rituals. Each vessel in this series, titled Memory Pottery, is wheel‑thrown with meditative precision, its form slightly asymmetric to capture movement even at rest. It arrives nested in a shifuku (black protective silk bag), accompanied by a kobukusa (ceremonial cloth), and housed in a tomobako (signature wooden box) that honors tea ceremony tradition. The piece balances past and present, inviting reflection each time the lid is lifted.
