PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
EXT. SIDE STREET — AFTERNOON
The Village PM 1.30PM Black/White Canvas is a skate shoe built around a rather specific objective: keep the foot close to the board and the rubber exactly where a skater needs it.
Its canvas upper is wrapped with Village PM’s Rubber Glove Technology—a soft, sticky natural rubber construction manually formed around the foot for a precise fit. It isn’t vulcanized. It isn’t a cupsole. It occupies its own slightly peculiar category and breaks in quickly.
The asymmetrical shape follows the foot closely through the toe, helped along by extended, slightly asymmetrical lacing. A rubber rand covers the forefoot for consistent flick.
Underfoot, a drop-in EVA midsole puts more cushioning at the heel for impact protection, then gradually gets slimmer toward the forefoot for greater board feel. The rubber outsole is durable without requiring a lengthy diplomatic negotiation before it becomes comfortable.
Fit is mostly true to size. Wider feet may find it snug; going up half a size is recommended when between sizes.
