EXT. CONCRETE LOT — NIGHT

The Village PM 1PM MID Black takes the close-fitting construction of a technical skate shoe and brings it above the ankle. More coverage. More padding. No unnecessary bulk hanging around for moral support.

The upper combines suede leather, canvas, and leather with Village PM’s Rubber Glove Technology. Soft, sticky natural rubber is manually wrapped around the foot, creating a precise fit that stays close over the life of the shoe. The construction is neither vulcanized nor a cupsole and is designed to break in quickly.

An asymmetrical shape follows the natural form of the foot and fits closely around the toes. Full-foot asymmetrical lacing extends the adjustment farther down the shoe, giving the wearer greater control over fit. Across the forefoot, a hand-wrapped climbing rubber rand provides the sticky surface Village PM uses for a consistent flick.

The padded mid-top collar rises around the ankle for protection, then drops lower at the back to make getting the shoe on easier. Embroidered heel pull tabs assist with the same operation. A small courtesy at the end of a long day.

Underfoot, the drop-in EVA midsole carries more cushioning through the heel for impact protection, tapering toward the forefoot to retain board feel. A durable rubber outsole finishes the construction and is designed for a quick break-in.

Fit is mostly true to size, with a tighter feel for wider feet. Recommend going up half a size when in doubt.
