EXT. CONCRETE BANK — EVENING

The Village PM 2PM Maroon is a precise skateboard shoe with a synthetic leather upper, expanded forefoot fit, and plenty of rubber between your laces and the consequences of repeated kickflips.

Village PM’s Rubber Glove Technology uses soft, sticky natural rubber manually wrapped around the foot. It isn’t vulcanized or a cupsole. The construction is designed to break in quickly, maintain consistent flick, and keep its close fit through the shoe’s lifespan.

The 2PM introduces Village PM’s Asymmetrical Precision Fit 2. It follows the foot’s natural asymmetrical shape and stays close around the toes, with slightly more room through the metatarsal area than the 1PM. An angular toe box mirrors the shape of the outsole, creating a defined reference point at the front of the shoe.

The rubber rand is hand-wrapped around the forefoot and extends over the eyestay to form a rubber lace cover. The result puts soft climbing rubber at the flick area and protects the laces from abrasion. A sensible arrangement. Shoelaces have suffered enough.

Two heel pull tabs make the 2PM easier to slip on. Underneath, a durable rubber outsole is designed for a quick break-in and incorporates a heel-cup zone at the rear.

Fit is mostly true to size and can run tight for wider feet. Village PM recommends going up half a size when in doubt.
